Bro, you were like 15 minutes from where I live. Heck, if you went down 120 out of Howe Indiana you passed my house. Just before a large grey aluminum building that is like 6 stories tall. So, if anybody noticed my lack of posting in this thread over the weekend, it was because I was in Fremont, Indiana camping. The campground we went to was Yogi Bear Jellystone or something like that. We (in "we" I mean my mom, 2 brothers, sister and mom) went with my Uncle, Aunt, 2 girl cousins and my Grandma and Grandpa. Overall, I had a good time. The campground had a water park, which is where I spent most of my time because there was a bunch of hot wimenz hanging around. My mom also surprisingly let me drive around the campground, but I was limited to 5 M.P.H. I won't complain though because there was A LOT of little kids running out in front of you and whatnot. Let's see, on Saturday I went to a car and military museum that had a bunch of cool stuff. Unfortunately though it looks like it'll be closing down soon because it was empty in places and some of the pieces were being auctioned off. I forget the name of the museum but it had a batmobile out front and the name started with Kruse.
Today, after waking up and packing everything back into the Jeep we headed to Shipshewana, Indiana because my mom wanted to find some Amish stuff to eat but we didn't find anything. On the way there though we stopped at a Buffalo sanctuary I guess you could call it. That was cool to look at. My 9-year old sister though thought it would be a good idea to see if the fence was electric and she put her hand on it and grabbed it and got electrocuted. I tried not to laugh to be nice, but I couldn't help myself. After that and Shipshewana, we drove home and stopped at an antique store along the road because my mom wanted to see if they had any Detroit Tigers stuff laying around, which they didn't. But, they had a lot of cool looking tools and some military things. I was able to find one cool thing though, but I'll post pictures later.
I used to work in Shipshewana at the Flea Market when I was in highschool. The Car Museum I think is in Auburn? Any way, crazy you were so close. I am in North Carolina though so we wouldn't have been able to meet anyway.
