It depends on what knives you are thinking of selling whateatsrabbits.
Anyhow, do any of you guys have ideas for makeshift sharpening fluid? i really want to put a perfect edge on my leek, but my diamonds just aren't worn in yet, and there is still a lot of teeth on it, water has gotten the smoothest results, but i want it a little better...
Patience. It takes patience.

I just ordered a DLC JYD. I hope the clip isn't as bad as I think it is. Hey Kirby, could you possibly post a picture of how it rides in the pocket?

In pocket pics.

What grit size are you finishing on? Diamonds are the hardest abrasive that stones are made of to my knowledge. Combined with their crystal structure they also cut more aggressively, thus lighter pressure is also recommended. Also using high pressure on diamonds can tear them out of their "seat" so to speak on the stone.

Probably will not make a difference. In my experience Dave has the best pricing on almost everything. So I do not see the prices being much lower anywhere. I could be totally wrong though.

Dave has them right now for 399, my preorder is 340

It is a gamble. You don't know what place you are in knifecenter. And they are known for just taking preorders and not stopping them. I am a bad person to ask though because I will always help you spend money :D.

coarse side is 325 grit, and the fine is 750, its a smith's diamond combination, its cheap, but it seems to be working
