I love listening to the lock engage on this 0551.

I wonder if my driving instructor would care if I brought my 0551. I've carried my Skyline and Cryo, but the 0551 is substantially bigger than those. I guess he wouldn't be able to tell what it is unless I actually use it, which I haven't had to do during drivers training yet.

I carried my TiLT when I did my test, I don't think he'll care. (He shouldn't see it, he should be focusing on the road)

Ours makes us run errands for him too. He had me check a bunch of trees that fell over at the end of a suburb, drive him to some signs to pick up that he placed for an estate sale and go to an office type building to set-up a meeting.

I saw that 0801 sell for $225... Silly people. Oh well. It's hilarious to see this "Just took delivery of this but now I need the cash!" junk all the time.
 
Well guys I took ownership of my first bench made tonight its an 810 contego its interesting I have migrated to larger folders and it is perfect size and this is my first axis lock knife trying to get used to it. I can't want to test out the cpm-m4 steel!!! Thats really the sole reason I bought it to be honest. And my 2nd brous division flipper left Hawaii today this one the blackout version with SN 386 couldn't be more fitting...

his company is fairly new. Making mid-tech (I would call them mid-techs at least) mainly 1/4" sharpened pry bars. very expensive like nothing under $400. I have no problem with the maker myself. Seemed like a good guy at blade...maybe just a little outspoken haha.

The Griptilian was my first Benchmade. The Axis Lock is awesome!
 
Seeing all these 801's on Instagram is killing me! I was going to hold out for the cf but I'm really wanting one now

I'll be honest, the 0801 never really was my cup if tea, but after hearing everyone talk about it, I kind of want one. I still think I want a 0770CF more though.

I'm in love with the 0801...never really fell for the 0801CF though, to me it over complicates the design *shrug*. But I do agree, the 0770CF is amazing!

I'm kind of on the same boat. I don't dislike it by any means but it doesn't stick out to me like the 0454 does. The M390 definitely attracts me though.
 
Something is messed up with my house. The power keeps turning off and turning back on randomly. It's done it every day for the past 3-4 days.
