That was funny.Where were you when I needed you man????? I made a fool of myself...
Shut-up.
I know, but that's when I first heard it.that saying is much much much much older than step brothers.
To bad we already discussed the topic of you being able to swim, or I would tell you to drown.I just got a flash flood warning, and an areal flood warning.
I saw you a few times, but was so swamped with things to do at Blade that we just never officially met.
The normal s10 puts out 340 lumens I think and my s10 doesn't have a green tint at all. He did say the ti versions had too much anti reflective coating applied to the lens which gave it a nasty greenish hue
That line right there, has me really excited. To see what new knives ZT can come up with is going to be fun to watch. The 0801 is awesome by the way. It feels like the real new generation of ZT, and I love where they're going.

So yes, the neutral white S10 titanium does in general have a green tint. It's due to a few things, but the most prominent factor that I've found is the overdone AR coating on the lens. Manny may remember when I showed it to him, as well as the bad purple hue on the penumbra of the spill. The lens caused a lot of issues.
The tint is made worse by the fact that the S10 is current controlled. Under-driven LEDs tend to shift towards a greener tint, so it's more apparent in low and medium. In high, the tint is closer to normal. But the lens is the biggest problem.
I replaced the lens with one from a standard S10 since more recent runs have a better coating. You could also just order an aftermarket lens for it. Actually, I just got two aftermarket lenses that I'm going to test. If anyone has a Ti S10 with a bad tint, let me know and we can check if a lens is the fix.

To those who currently own the 0600, is it possible to attach a lanyard through those holes in the spacer?
These ones?

+1 I'm really exited for the 0801/0770CF...
Yeah that purple was startling...really exaggerated. I can see some faint purple when I look at my s10 from an angle, but nothing close to that Ti version.
Glad you're loving that 801 sticky. Can't wait for the next batch to ship out![]()
possible? yes
I'm REALLY tired, so I'm going to bed a couple hours early tonight.
what would you recomend for a first serious flashlight? under $50 and under of course
