Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

Stick, the 801 is awesome. Detent is crazy, and perhaps one of the best flippers I have had. 0600 is smoother. But there is something about the 801. I got #28.

Yes sir, indeed it is. The lock bar is relatively short, and has a lot of inward spring tension. It makes the flipping action amazing, and the lock up wicked solid. I can't muscle any movement out of it at all. The blade shape is really really nice for general use, and while it's a medium sized folder, it really feels like a man's knife without being too much. I've got #0127.

I've got a second one coming now...it's just force of habit when I really like a knife. This is my carry knife now, I've retired the CF Blur and BFC Skyline. It's getting a nice denim-indigo tinge now from my jeans pockets, and the clip has wear on it. It's also sporting my Wicked Edge sharpness, and the Elmax is all burnt and screwed up. :D

I think I just mostly get tired of the same stories put out there, like the "I bought it to use, but it's too beautiful, so I'll sell it for more." Just my 2 cents.

I agree, but I guess I've just gotten used to it that it's not worth saying anything anymore. I think it was Andy (mqqn) who said that you can tell who the out-of-towners are in Chicago because they're the ones honking as the @sshole drivers.

Damn bunch of chatty Cathys!

2 more days in central western Pa. Its been a long week and a half. Cleaning up from floods and having an intervention for my wifes step mom. Shes a hoarder and her 6 yr old daughter was starting down the same path. Cleaned the house for two days and still not completely done.

Spent yesterday in Pittsburgh at Kennywood amusement park. Kids rode all kinds of rides including some wooden coasters made in the early 1910's and 1920's.

Helped my father in law clean his building for a graduation party and sell some bee supplies. He's a bee keeper and I have helped him remove hives and extract honey. Pretty neat stuff. Very cool being surrounded by millions of bees, makes you feel pretty small!

And lastly, Thanks Mario! My dad played with it when it came in and I just got it 2 days ago. Its awesome and I can't thank you enough for your generosity!

Lulz...send it to me. That's the best way to reprofile anything. Besides...I have to break in my new 50/80 stones and an import Kershaw would be a good knife.

Us do that for me? I might actually do that when the time comes if its not too much if a pain

We'd gladly take down anyone's knives for them. Thats why we don't want to fly, it meams we can't carry our blades with us and there's no fun in that.

We usually make our arraignments early on, like March so we'll let everyone know what we're doing and if anyone needs to use STD Courier Service
