Sorry. I've been wanting the SpyKer forever. And I know Steb has been wanting one forever, so I kindly obliged. About the running shoes. My Free Run 2's will be my running shoes. My new ones are my everyday shoes.

I guess since you helped out stebs I'll let it slide.

The new ones aren't going to be good for everyday shoes. They are more like what a marathon runner or every day 5-10 miler would wear. Light weight running shoes are just that lightweight and minimal. Wearing them everday for casual purposes will result in compressing the heel in the liner and giving you a hard strike on steps. You'll end up wearing the outsole on them much quicker too. If you want a running shoe for everday, look at something with some cushion. Brooks, montrail, salomon, a couple adidas and new balance shoes would suit you so much better (there are many more brands too) If you over or under pronate a feature shoe would be even better for you.

As a runner I am super picky about shoes. I finally talked my wife into letting me help her pick a pair out and she was so happy with the end result. She never liked any shoes she bought because she picked them by color and looks. Her back and hip don't hurt near as bad as they used when wearing them.

If you guys ever have any questions just ask me. I'm the shoe guru in the family and everybody is always asking if what they want will be good for what they are wantng it for.

They're pretty cushiony and comfortable. I usually go for those type of shoes cause I use them for everything. Walking, PE at school, running, jogging, basketball, and everything else I do on a day to day basis. I wore my free runs for a year and a half, and they worked perfect. I would get another pair, but they're disco'd
No disrespect, but I've worn many types of shoes, and these type work best for me.

The only problem I've ever had from shoes is a sharp pain in my knee, and that's from me wearing steel toed boots consecutively for weeks. That issue is of course gone now.

By the way, I have a Speedform II in the Trade Exchange that I'd like to trade for some other Kershaws. If I don't get any bites, I'll probably list it up for sale. It is LNIB, just taken out for pictures! Haven't cut anything either. Cheers

Maybe we should talk about it at 3 in the morning.................Worked last time :p

So the wiha torx set sticky ordered for me arrived yesterday. Had a bad experience with wiha tools, although to be fair it was with a set of insulated lineman's pliers. The coating peeled of rather quickly.

I'm sure this torx set will be fine.

Those Wiha torx should serve you well man. Mine have been great, and you remember how the t6 took the pivot off the CF Blur without any bending. Good stuff. End of the summer I may pick up the full set of precision tools.

The 0801 is actually much better now. I increased the lock bar tension a fair amount and it's a much nicer feeling detent. Still on the fence about it though, as it's not as finger-hurty strong as my first one. I'll get another from Dave and see which one I like better. Who knows? Maybe I'll do a giveaway. ;)

Justin, I'm really glad you like the light. It's a great little piece, and the neutral white is just the cat's potatoes. Use it well, it should last a long time.

That sounds great! You should give it away...to my son. I'll talk to Marci and Cici about it :p
