Ordered a RC 6

Ordered a RC 6 yesterday, the dealer did not have the ESEE banded knives in stock or in flow yet. But they are the same I guess. Anyway, it shouldbe here Thursday. I will post some pics of it when it gets here and hopefully it will be as good as I hear. If it didn't meet all of my qualifications then I wouldn't have bought it in the first place though.

if it was the ontario rat it is different then ESEE or the older RAT cutlery stuff, if it is an RC-6 then you're fine :) but generally the ontarios are not held in the same esteem. the ESEE's are just better :D
 
I'm just waiting on re-stock here in BC so I can get one too! Two weeks is seeming like a long time.

One day...I'll have it...and the 6...and 5...lol...
The funny thing is, just one Esee isn't really enough, or one of each version...one could argue collecting with diff colors....and using the excuse one has been well used, must buy exact same one again... excuse.

Just a thought though O:) and off topic ;P


Imagine? If you have a hard time waiting you could always play tetris. that helped me. Or assignments, if you have those.

Bigfoot's toothpick, what a masterpiece. Are you trying to kill me, sneaking that picture in on me, lol. I try to forget about it during my torturing wait.
 
Well the 6 arrived last night and I was so busy that I didn't even open the box until today. Honestly, all I have done so far in fondle it. I really like it, also it is at a price where I don't have any buyer's remorse AT ALL. So hopefully, I will get to use it a bit over the next few days.
 
We have already made the trasnsition on all of our knives to the ESEE name, but there are still knives out there with the RC branding. Please note that NOTHING we produce anymore bears the RAT name whatsoever, and never, ever, will again. Ontario and SwampRat are the only compnaies using that name now. With that said, we still have some changing to do on our web site and new ESEE branded photos to put up but we will have this done soon. Also note that nothing is different about any of our product except the name.

That is why I picked it up! If it would have been the non-Rowen 6 I wouldn't have purchased it.

Anyway, I used the 6 while rigging up some jug lines this weekend. Nothing major but it felt good while I worked. Yes, jug fishing might be the pinnacle of redneck and maybe its not fishing at all but I enjoy it.
