There should be a notice at the top of the forum for you to order it.

Edit: If you don't see it, check this...

In your profile preferences is this option:

Restore dismissed notices
"Any notices you have previously dismissed will be restored to view if you check this option."

Check that option and save it. The notice will come back at the top of the forum.

I've only been participating in the traditional subforum since Feb 11 of this year and I have 364 (well, I guess this makes it 365... 🤣) posts.

Tell me the truth, you guys - am I a pathological over-sharer? 🤣

If so, I apologize - but it's just because I really love the traditionals.

I wonder if you could 'snapshot' the membership data right before the forum knife is announced each year. And only people who met whatever the requirements end up being are eligible.

But to be honest, I get a fair bit of pleasure out of crapping on the InstaRedBook knife bros who hear about an exclusive GEC release on something called a 'forum,' and swarm over here, fail basic reading comprehension, and get really confused and desperate. It's so pathetic to watch that I don't begrudge them the knife if they get it. Watching this thread every year is some of the best entertainment on the forum.

It is technically possible to do this, but it would require either having that capability to built into the forum software or having both access to the database and sufficient knowledge of SQL (probably) to export that data. I'm not sure how much effort this hoop may be worth to jump through it.

Yeah, I dunno... no idea what sorts of admin capabilities we got with the Xenforo switch.
 
This year has been incredibly mild. Taking all the decision making out of the picture and having enough knives to go around helps a lot.

I don't like the squabbles over who is 'deserving', or the brainstorming over how to make the annual knife more exclusive. Anyone remember the bad feelings over the white bone Barlows that were made available to select members a few years ago?

This is Spark's house, if he wants to decide who gets a knife or not that's fine by me, and I don't see a reason to second guess. I hadn't met the required post count when I bought my first Forum knife, and I was grateful for the opportunity to participate.
 
Status update:

GEC is tubing up the knives right now and will be shipping shortly. Once I have possession, I will be sorting by serial number and will start getting them out the door. If there are any issues that will, of course, cause delays.

I've received a couple dozen "I fucked up my address" "I ordered two" "I ate paint chips" "I'm curious about [whatever]" emails.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel for whatever reason, cool. Reply to your paypal receipt with "CANCEL" in the title and I will refund ASAP.

WRONG ADDRESSES:
If you've screwed up your address, you need to fix it in Paypal. I will not ship to an address not on the Paypal payment as that will screw me if the knife goes missing. GET YOUR ADDRESSES CORRECTED AND SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH "WRONG ADDRESS" in the title; I'll get you refunded ASAP.

SALES TAX:
If you were charged sales tax (first 100 or so), mea culpa. If you want it refunded, reply to the paypal receipt with "SALES TAX REFUND" in the title. If you don't care, no worries, thank you for understanding that I am brain damaged and ate paint chips + possibly am quite dumb.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I am talking with Charlie, Paris, et al regarding this. We'll get it figured out.

Heads up, there will be a PRICE INCREASE AFTER THE KNIVES GET HERE
The preorder price is the preorder price. If there are any left after the knives get here, it's no longer a pre order. If you are biding your time, don't wait long.

How do you tell how many posts you have? I went to the post areas section under my profile but it doesn’t show any posts in the traditional forum even though I have posted a few times in the traditional forums.
