ORDERS ARE CLOSED! 2023 BladeForums.com Traditional Knife.

My goodness the hump back congress is a lot of knife. Here it is next to another of Bill Howard's projects, the Winchester congress pen.

Those look mighty fine posed together. Been playing with mine, working the joints with oil and plenty of opening/closing - the main has moved up from a 5 to a 6 on the closing snap, and the pen has dropped from a 9 to an 8 on the opening pull. Fine action on those two blades, fit and finish is perfect. OH
Ps., having #44, I keep humming Marty Robbins western tunes while playing with the knife.

Gave this one a flush, and I'd say the pulls are 7-8 on the main and 8-9 on the secondary which I prefer. I like how substantial this knife feels. It's in a whole other league compared to the acrylic versions.

Number 203 checking in here: pretty much perfect in every way! Got lucky with the pulls with both blades smooth and snappy, but easy to open. 203 is the state office number where i have worked for nearly twenty years now and will be retiring from in about four months, also the department number of the factory i worked in before i started this job, so it seems like a fitting retirement present to myself! Thanks to Spark, Meako and everbody else involved in making this a reality!!

I know Spark Spark is a one man army working through these, but these pictures aren't helping with the waiting. I'm waaaaay towards the bottom of the list and it is hard being patient. :-)

Kidding aside, thank you Spark for putting this together!

I think someone posted in the 250s
I hope mine doesn't come too soon.
Still hoping for #512, and we're barely into the 100's. 😇

I got #260. I'm local to Spark, but don't think that had anything to do with it.

I'll try to get a pic in a day or 2. Still not ready to open it one handed.

#136 arrived at the end of last week.

I've been perplexed by the naming of this, since it doesn't look like a Congress to me, but Meako's description of the back of the tube cleared that right up!

Apart from that out of context mishmash of knife names from the Porchenberg Knife Namers Guild...I contacted Kevin for confirmation.🤓👍
