Oregon Knife Collectors 2025 Show

Thank you Gents! :)

I was having a look at the table almost straight across from Rhidian and Mikes tables, a very nice guy by the name of Don Hanham had his spot there.
This is where I picked up that Knife for Rhidian - it was the same pattern that Rhidian made his astonishing custom Knife with the Secateurs, Rhidian made the knife from a photo of a Joseph Rodgers pattern garden Knife believe it or not, I was telling Rhidian that I owned a pretty beat up Joseph Rodgers one like this at home, and well later on wouldn't you know it- Don had a very nice example for sale- so I picked up for Rhidian, while I was there Don had a nice little Budding Knife - I thought of Sue immediately and had to grab it for her.

Sue is amazing in her Garden, what comes out of that Garden is simply unbelievable, Sue works darned hard in there and she loves it- it's her place - she gets me to construct things from her plans and she rolls up her sleeves and always helps with the construction- its just awesome.

So over the years I have picked up a knife or two - she has a all Ivory Knife that has a replacement Sheepsfoot Blade- gorgeous old Knife - Sue uses it all the time so here is another one for her with an Ivory Bark shin..

I was telling Don about Sues garden, and he gave me a knife to give to her- What a hang of a nice thing to do!, here's that Knife and I asked Don if I could take a photo to tell Sue of the type of people that are at the show and here is the Gentleman who gifted you this knife.

So here is Don gift Knife ( top) with the other I picked up for her, and the the man himself, Don - Thank you kind Sir.

Don's a good man!! And his prices are always fair!! He has quite an ever-changing collection!! The ivory spud, and the hump on the back of the main generally serve the same purpose!! Nice knives, Duncan!!

Don was the President of our Washington Knife Collectors Club, did a great job, but then moved to another state. Always good to see him in Eugene. John

Thank you Charlie and John! :)

John I understand you were at the show- I read this in Bladeforums once I got home, what a shame I missed you - or did I talk to you and not quite relate you to here? I am unsure but I hope your show experience was a great one.

I guess still in the Scout World, but with a little steroids, I picked up this 5 Bladed Camillus built beauty.
CRAFTSMAN (over) Sta-Sharp (over) FARMER - MECHANIC 9537 strong etch, the Knife excellent condition, beautiful Bone, Federal Shield, pretty sure the knife is unused.
Post 1941 you see the 9537 but yet, I haven't seen the Federal Shield with the FARMER - MECHANIC etch, I have other 5 bladed Sears, so with this slight difference it was a nice pick up to join the Sears Collection.
