Oregon knife meet up!! Saturday June 29th!!!

Oregon knife meet up just refers to the fact that its in Oregon more so than saying only Oregonians are invited. Hey if you are willing to make the trip come from wherever lol.

Hey guys. If you don't mind bring $10 to help pay for the reservation and for incidentals like ice, charcoal , plates and utensils, etc. Again, there's an Albertson's 3 blocks away if you want to just get your stuff here. Bring a fishing pole if you want to catch your dinner...

I hope it's a good turnout! I've got some Shwag for the first 9 people who show up!
 
Just spoke to a great guy who is driving down from Seattle for the meet-up!!! Several USNers have said they will be there. WEATHER FORECAST: 90 degrees and not a drop of rain to be seen for days. Bring your swim suits if you need to cool down in the river!!!!
 
I plan on stopping by for a bit. It will be good to see some old friends and meet some new ones.

What an excellent afternoon and evening it was!!! Great knives! Great people! I learned a ton and saw a lot of knives I'd never heard of before. Thanks to Josh, Ed, Chris, Shawn, Riley, Luke, Mitch, Gary, Bill, Chuck, Tim, Ed, Kyle, Bryan, Alexander, (and I know I'm missing a couple names! Dang!! ) for bringing your wonderful knives to show. Hey Luke, I think this should be an annual event and maybe we can call it the Pacific Northwest Blade and BBQ!!!! Last weekend in June every year!!!!
 
Good name and timing.

So write it down everybody. June 28th 2014. No excuses this time around.

Turn out was great. Just about doubled what Phil (Maprik) and I were estimating.
