Oregon SHOW!!

A certain OKCA member seems to find a Harness Jack for me at every show, and loves to trade for something he likes. He brought this one over near the end of the show.
Front Tang - Adolph Blaich, San Francisco, Razor (arrow in an oval) Steel.
Rear Tang - J.S.Holler & Co.
No country of origin but seems German. Very snappy - perfect pulls - a bit worn. Full, unmarked punch. A hefty 3 5/8" long. Nicely pocket-worn. Great!!

Also brought home a beautiful display case, which Charlie generously gifted me in exchange for one coin of the realm. Here it is hanging on my wall. Second pic is the view from my recliner. Bought some fabric this afternoon and am about to put it on the steel inserts and reinstall them. Then I can start installing the knives. Planning to display my Keen Kutters. Looking forward to sitting in my recliner reading and being able to look up and see some knives.
I will post in a different thread once I get the case full.

That Display case fits perfectly on your wall, Dan!! Made of good Canadian Oak!!
Can't wait to see it fill up!!

'Twas your color-coordinated blue duds that took the whole thing over the top. o_O

Congratulations!

~ P.
Knowing you penchant for things Blue, I wish I could say we did it for you!!
So nice to see your Owl, pertinux!! :)

Anybody who went to the show stop by the TSF booth? Was Dr. Jim there? He apparently merged with somebody who has a full machine shop (and CNC machine). Wondering what they had available and how things are looking. Their site has been down since November or so.

Wow this is a great thread.

...and those special TC soup bones are to die for.

What a great time.

Well finally here is my OKCA show loot

Also photos of the show and my Monday trip to the Oregon coast to visit the beautiful and picturesque Heceta Head Lighthouse (about 70 miles west of Eugene) on the coast above Florence.

Didn’t take many photos at the show this year. Great visiting and catching up with all my knife collecting buddies! If you have never made it to this how you should really try to attend—I know it is a great distance for many of you but it is just a spectacular event and so very well orchestrated by the OKCA officers and volunteers

Sensory overload is the term I heard expressed more than once at the show

So many vintage knives—it is hard to express the scope of this show in a way that is adequate
