Oregon SHOW!!

Proceed with caution Ed! Once you catch the "old knife" fever there aren't many cures for getting rid of it ;) I almost stopped at 100 knives but am currently pushing 300 LoL :D
LOL Thanks my friend I appreciate the warning but it might be to late :)
300 knives  wow that’s a lot Kevin !

:)And yet another Big Thanks to Charlie for this beautiful Oregon show knife and one more set of pics to share . Exuse the factory oil I haven’t had the heart to wipe her down yet .

Thanks for adding the pics, Ed!!
I hope we see some more knives purchased or traded at the Oregon show!!
C'mon you shy folks!! Let's see them!!:)
Your welcome Charlie :)
I can’t wait until next year and this time I’ll be saving all year for the next show since I know when and we’re it is Now :D

Charlie please forgive me if this information has already been well publicised- and I suspect it has.....

These lovely TC’s that our friends Chief and Factor have kindly displayed- I note they are 2014 - did you have a run especially made made for this show - as I had never seen that Tube either until such time it was shown in this Thread!

Here is another shot of my haul all together. From left to right: a KK dogleg jack 3 1/2" in length, a Simmons Hardware jack (both purchased from Charlie), a KK jumbo jack just under 4", a KK peanut, three KK lobsters, a KK yellow handled peanut (gifted to my by Lloyd), a Simmons Hardware 4 blade senator with a Keen Kutter etch, two Simmons Hardware Co. Germany (a whittler and a doctor) and a Gerber pixie. I will be posting further pics of the Simmons related knives in the Keen Kutter thread (as soon as I get around to taking some).
Also a couple more pics of familiar faces.

Dan, you got a haul, man! I'm sure glad you didn't show me that Keen Kutter jumbo jack at the show; I might not have given it back! That thing is dyn-o-mite! Also really like the dogleg. Sweeeeet.:cool::cool:

Just got a brilliant idea.... Next year I will hire some guys to watch my table while I see the show and shop!

Very nice Dan! Those are some great looking KKs to add to your already great EC Simmons/KK collection:thumbsup: I have my haul to add this thread when I can get around to taking some photos. Been busy with some family obligations celebrations and outings this past week. Just had a granddaughter get back from a 1 & 1/2 year church mission to Germany/Switzerland and Austria.

I guess Knife collectors like to wear blue colored clothing:eek: Very nice clear photos Dan!

Yeah...Those KK's are awesome alright - I agree with Barry and Lloyd!
Lloyd- how wonderful it must have ben to scoop your Grandaughter up in your arms after all that time!

Mmmmm Blue shirts on all those Knife collectors - Serial Killers also preferred that Colour mmmmm  :D

Lot's of great knives posted. A lot of great oldies from Charlie. Looking forward to seeing Lloyd's knives posted. Continuing with the displays here is a display of "stainless combination knives" by Mike Adamson? who is a member on here.

Thanks for that wonderful reprise of the displays, Dan!! Brought me right back to the show!!
Those displays are a wonderful addition to a knife show, helping to fill in the ever-so-important education component that every knife show should have!

And you gathered a wonderful group of knives, Dan!! I was fortunate to CE and CF a few of them!!:)

Campbellclanman Campbellclanman the TCs for the show were made from the over-run of parts from the previous TC runs. He stayed with the Clip runs of '14 and '16.
Bill found the relative front labels, and dreamed up the Oregon Soup back label all by himself!!
Nice surprise for us!!:)
8 - 2016 Long Pulls, and 17 - 2014 common nicks were made.
