Wow that is really cool. Thanks for sharing!

I wish I was half as good as him though. I haven't shot once since I was a kid and was pulling an el cheapo plastic one from wal-mart when apparently I pulled to far, and the rubber snapped and hit me in the neck :grumpy:

very cool video...i bet he would be a pleasure to sit down and chat with some afternoon...

Great video. I want one of his bean shooters.

Awesome shooting.

Looks like a rather old news clip. Notice the News 3 van is a late 70's/early 80's Chevy and the Pepsi cans are vintage too.

Grew up shooting a wrist rocket, used 45 bullets from an old army range for ammo. Got pretty good. Practice makes perfect. Be careful what you practice.

That guy is amazing!

If my memory serves, he once appeared on David Letterman, shooting eggs off of a cande holder, without knocking it over.

reminds me of some of the old guys where i grew up. I remember my first slingshot, i was a terror with it. Nowadays the ammo is heavier and bigger, and the targets are furry things (wabbits!) for food.

Man, that's gotta be an oooooooold video. Those Pepsi cans are from the early 80s. I would be surprised if that gent was still around.

Way to go!
Now I have to go find my ole slingshot!
That guy is amazing.

The guy is amazing, no doubt! By contrast, I've oft had some close brushes with self-injury with a slingshot from ricochets and the like... I can still recall the unearthly noise one jagged pebble made after bouncing off a tree and whizzing by my ear. :o

Wow, wish I could shootl ike that! That would give me a reason to purchase a high quality sling shot.

One of my round-to-it projects is to learn to use a classic sling. Talk about cheap portable firepower. Giants beware :)

I've used wrist rocket style slingshots since I was a kid. You can get wicked accuracy with a little practice and some consistent ammo.

We used to hunt each other with slingshots, using spent 12 gauge primers as ammo. They whistle fairly loud as they go by. There's no reason why we still have both eyes. We did aim low--- stung like Hell too. For some reason, after a while, stray dogs would take off at high speed when you whistled.....

Watching that fellow is a riot. As someone else mentioned, it would be great to sit down with him and chat a bit.
