OSU8233 stole my money..appears I'm not alone

Sorry to hear that. I bought 4 knives from him in the span of a week or so back in February, when he was having a fire sale to pay for some new gear. I didn't have any problems: all of the knives were shipped promptly and in the condition described.

Obviously, that doesn't mean that everything is fine in this case: at the very least, he's guilty of poor communication. It also looks like he hasn't logged in since 4-18, the same date as your payment. It's hard to know what to make of that, though. Sometimes it means that somebody had a legitimate emergency come up, other times it means that the person took another member's money and ran.

Would you mind linking to the other threads/posts where people reported having problems with him? I searched for his username here in the GB&U subforum, but all that came up was this thread.

Best of luck getting this resolved.

Well it looks like his feed back is good. He only has one input tho. I'd wait for him to log back in and defend his self, like neuron said he could ve had a legit emergency. If not I'd nail his hide with a bad feedback. In the future (which in this case it would not have helped tho) always check out the buyer b4.
 
I see you are frustrated and worried, but he ended up doing the right thing before, so just hang in there. Remember we had some Holidays this week, which is no excuse to not return an email, but I do think you are jumping the gun in calling him a thief. It has only been a week.

-I've sent three emails with zero response.
-The last response from OSU8233 was on 4-18-11 when he provided email address for PP payment.

23:45 (est) OSU8233 sent email stating he would ship knife tomorrow, 4-26-11
 
kinda funny how that works...dont hear from someone for weeks...within hours of filing a complaint the package is in the mail (supposedly) and on the way

Yeah, no kidding. :rolleyes: Sad that integrity and holding up one's end of a deal in a timely manner are such a chore for some people...
