Okay, sanity and knife addiction check.

I can't stop fondling my new Gossman PSK Jr. In fact, I am holding it in my right hand while posting here. I canhold it in the webbing of my hand between the thumb and forefinger and type just fine. That way, I can admire it while I forget to fix typos or look at what whether my fingers are hitting or missing theright keys...

Am I the only knut who does this with a new small knife? :eek: :rolleyes: :confused: :)
 
I can't watch TV or a DVD without pulling out a few blades to play with when there is a lull in the action. Then I'll get up and go get a few more so I can make some comparisons with the first set I pulled out. And so on. I'm sitting here right now admiring a Finnish pukko that I just described in a post.

Wow, amazing, never thought to try that. Just typed this whole post with a Busse Cultellus between my middle and index finger. Thanks, Brian. :D
I often have a knife sitting in my lap, but this is much safer for those sneak attacks where my cat leaps up unexpectedly.
 
OK! I admit it! I learned how to type one-handed, because I'm not coordinated enough to pull that trick off. I'm a freak! *sobbing* Are you guys happy now?!
 
Yes, you are the only one. The cure is to immediately send me all of your knives and related items. I'm here to help.

I am a registered knife fondler, but my typing skills are so poor that I can't hold a knife and post (I need both fingers). I tend to carry large, sheathed fixed blades around the house with me, from the office to go sit with my lady on the couch, etc. It is not uncommon for me to have a Busse FBM or the Lone Ranger next to my place setting at dinner, we have formal family dinners where everybody sits at the table (no elbows, the whole shooting match..) and my kids think its strange to a large FB at the table, my oldest says I'm a "whackjob", don't know what she means....

Sorry for enabling you. If you want, I'll gladly take it back free of charge. Just wait until I let you beat the snot out of some seasoned wood with my Tusker. You will not want to hand it back.
 
LOL. Ok, one more confession.

It gets worse. Last night, I slept with it.

I did. And we only just met.

I kept it in the sheath (gotta use protection). But as I fell asleep, I knew it just wanted to be held. So, I did.

I woke up this morning, and it still looked as good as it did last night. *sigh of relief*

did you still respect it in the morning. slleping with it on the first date?

My wife and I have an open marriage. I'm allowed to sleep with other knives....as long as I do it on the sofa. :D

HDW, your wife must be very understanding. How does she deal with it when you make her ride in the back seat of the car so you can have your knives sit next to you in the front seat? ;) :D
