OT: Another Prayer Request

Ask the doctors if they would use some kind of pain medication for the same procedure for adults. Sometimes people do things to kids without meds that they would never inflict on adults.
There are things I wouldn't let doctors do to me without some kind of mild sedative or pain med.
I would ask if there is some way to reduce the unpleasantness - even if it is only some mild pain med.

Hugged my little girl a little tighter last night and gave her alot more slack than usual. Its so damn easy to all hung up on discipline and all that and forget how much you love them

Arty, that's a good suggestion, I called and left a message for the doctor today, I should talk to her soon about that.
 
One stick burning now, four more to go for all the prayers and smoke needed. Hope I get them all finished before I go to sleep.
 
The recent requests for prayers, especially for suffering children bring tears to my heart. As a father who knows what it is to lose a child, and to see another experience great pain and suffering, I wish there was something I could do or give to make things easier. But there isn't, and because of this I feel helpless and very sad.
