ot: Anyone know anything about chain saws?

As an FYI, I own a stihl MS 250 and it is a nice little saw, (I used to work ofr a tree surgeon in my younger years) but I don't have needs for a big saw at the present time. Based on the trees I see in the above pics, I would opt for a bigger saw. I like the stihl 360 myself, but dont need a saw of that size.
 
I had a Husky 3120XP, walkerized muffler, polished carb ports, .404 chain, maaaaaaaaaaan that thing SCREAMED thru 5' thick trunks, throwing huge roostertails of chips. Then some addict nicked it. I don think i have recovered from that yet......

any links on how to modify your chain saw?
 
^ yes my friend! head on over to Arborist Site, and go to the Chainsaw section of the forum. Lots of Stihl wranglers there, and a few who do or can guide you thru a mod.
