OT: Farewell to a friend

Sarge, during times like this it is best to talk it out and have people who not only listen, but understand.

This forum is full of very good people who have the most sympathetic ears and hearts that I have had the pleasure to know.

Thanks John, you're absolutely right, nothing but good guys here. I'm getting back on an even keel, haven't hit smooth sailing yet, but I'm at least on the right heading. Sat myself down and figured out how I got so wound up, I'd gotten so caught up in taking care of everybody else that I hadn't given myself time to work out what I needed to deal with personally. Going to spend some quality time this weekend with my trusty old longbow and a handful of dear friends, nothing to worry about but hitting the gold with my arrows, and plenty time to sit by the fire and talk about whatever needs talking about.
