OT - Folders - Favorites, pics?

Wow. Some amazing stuff here guys.

I like me some Farmers:

And there's this Imperial Ireland Fish Knife that I found in my dad's toolbox when going through his things:

A few of my modern folders:

Left to right: Spyderco Air, small Sebenza, Caly 3 superblue, Lionsteel TiSpine, Slyszszczsz bowie, 940 Osbourne, Emerson Horseman, Paramilitary 2 S35VN, ZT 0562CF. The brown S35VN paramilitary 2 is by far my favorite.

My only custom folder, a Will Moon Mk7 (serial number 1, not that these have held a lot of value):

Traditional slipjoints:

Top row: #33 two blade, #68 all steel clip, #15 crown lifter, #15 ancient barlow, #15 spey, #15 scout, #15 sheepsfoot, #15 razor, #47 viper
Bottom row: #82 dixie stockman, #48 wharncliffe trapper, #89 spear, #89 whittler, #77 clip barlow, Northwoods Willamette, #92 talon, #66, #18 coyote, #09 esquire

Most carried is the #09. My favorites are the #33, #68, #15 crown lifter, #48, and #92. Runners up are almost everything else :). The #18 is getting a lot of use in its first few weeks. The #15 crown lifter is a great companion knife for camping. The clip point profile is good for everything, it has a cap lifter, and the sunbrite handles glow in the dark.

I plan to sell off several of these to fund my slowly growing Fiddleback collection. Some are not getting a lot of use, especially some of the modern folders.

I love the new Great Eastern Cutlery stuff. I carry a lockback sodbuster from them with maroon linen scales.

I'm really not a big folder guy...but I usually carry one version or another of the DPx HEST folder

And mostly as a back up in urban environments

In the woods I tend to carry a Wenger Ranger that was gifted to me for the longer saw and locking balde, but since it has a saw I wish it didn't have the serrated blade. I found a Vic version of it without serrations with the same long saw and all, but it has wooden handle scales, so I am hopeful they will come out with one with synthetic scales later.

Recently a friend who lives in Switzerland posted some photos of a Swiza Swiss Army Knife, and when I mentioned liking it he sent a couple over. I really like them. The texture is much less slick that the vics I've had, though I do wish the came with the toothpick and I wish they offered a version with the saw. maybe they will expand their line in the future.

This thread has really taken off. Sooo many great modern folders and traditionals. I'm a big fan of the 3 Sisters Forge Beast (pcguy23).

I like pairing my Fiddles with traditionals.

I'm partial to flippers, but the Forge Beast is my favorite non flipper folder

Very nice. I carry Case's version of this one on every out door trip I go on. One of my all time favorite patterns.

For work I always carry my STR-EK. Great all around package on the job.

If I'm feeling like a modern man I carry my para2 or Manix 2. I tend to favor my paramilitary 2.

As you can see by the wear this one was in the edc rotation.

Hauling hay on the farm. This #12 works wonders.

Cool thread. Very nice collection you've got going Vance.
