Please forgive me this chance to toot my own horn.

I got accepted to a very nice show in San Francisco - Napa Valley, to be exact. I'm very excited about it and can hardly contain myself. :eek:

We've each been asked to make a "special kitchen implement" (not necessarily just a kitchen knife). So, I've been putting together a few ideas...you guys will be the first ones to see it when I'm done. And, of course, I'm open to any great ideas y'all have. :D

Gonna set me back about 13 clams to go to the show, so my wife suggested we could double-dip and use that weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary in the land of wine and rice-a-roni.

I plan on bringing at least two dozen knives with me to the show, so if there's anybody in the near vicinity (and I can think of a few...:p) please come buy.....I mean.....by.....and check it out. :D
 
Huh, I was considering going, but then I saw that the fools had someone other than you giving sharpening instruction!

Seriously, I'll be there if I can. (better start saving now).

When the title said horn tuting, I thought it meant it. I've a conche shell I blow sometimes here in this little town. I always wonder what all 50 citizens, the Turkey and Deer think of it.

That's not too far from where I live. Oooh, I'm gonna start making plans so I can have that day off work. And like Aardvark says, start saving some $$ for the show!

Gee, that's great Dan! I lived in Santa Rosa for 20 years, just down the road from Napa, and drove cab all around that area for years.

Maybe I can make it up there and meet you. I'll do my best, and congratulations!
