Thanks! I think I'll be able to get along real well with this unobtainium stuff. It's not as horrible to shoot as people say, but clearly less enjoyable than a steel frame. Truth is anymore I only put about five hundred rounds a year through my handguns anyways- just enough to stay somewhat competent. The rest of the time I'm playing with rifles and shotguns. (shooting trap, skeet and cleaning up the pieces with .22s about nine times outta ten

Hey Edgetrip- I saw a good looking Glock 36 for about $425, and thought long and hard about it, But I figure I would have wussed out in the end and stashed it in the gunsafe rather than on my person.
Shopping around, I felt like a geek- everyone else was sweeping up those Smith X frame .500 Mags and the Smith 329's (scandium .44 mag) as fast as they could, and there I was looking at belly bangers....
