Always thought a slipgun - take cowboy gun, lower and polish hammer spur so you pull hammer down to backstrap and then let hammer slip out from under thumb - ( gut and remove trigger and other unnecessary breakable parts ) ought to work well for trouser snakes with a CCI shot cap first up for up close and personal.

In the old days, folks gave slipgunners a wider berth than rattlesnakes. Besides being obviously crazy to begin with, carrying one said that if you went down, you'd take your assailant down with you as you lost conciousness and released the hammer.

But then again being around the old ghost towns ( Aurora, Bodie, Candelarian, Rawhide, Tuscarora...) may have given me a wild west mentality rather than a civilized Boston/NYC mindset.

Also carry a handy sharpened folder to do a quick Bobbit manouveur before the cops and parmedics arrive.:D :D :D

Then it's for **** sure he won't be doing it anymore.

She keeps her hair short, she carries a Kershaw Blackout, she took Tae-Kwon-Do, she has an LED flashlight on her kaychain. All of these help her piece of mind. Add in the peircings and tattoos and (at six feet tall, 6'2" in boots) she does not look like anyone you would want to mess with. Our guy friends learned not to play around with her. She almost hit one buddy in the face when he startled her from behind. She raised her fist FAST. He never did that again. But there are days when she wont leave the house by herself. In the end I think the deadiest weapon is the mind and the willingness to take a confrontation to the next step. A woman with gun but without the will to use it will not fare as well as an unarmed woman who tears the ear from her assailant's skull. Good luck to you both.

Silverfoxknows, I was joking above, but in another thread mentioned I said I don't go to a doctor without carrying.

This is as serious as I can make it. I was in St. Marys hosspital on 40 mg of demerol every 4 hours and too fuzzy to call my wife at the inlaws, couldn't read 3 sentences, and never given a patient rights form. They came in with a consent form for a cardiac catheterization. and told me I had to sign it. I refused it 5 times. "You have to sign it!" direct quote. 5 times. Me - NO! four times and HELL NO the fifth. It is after hours. I'm slurring my speech.

I eventually sign planning to call my folks and or a lawyer in the morning. 5 AM and the n-word sticks me with the usual demerol then sticks me with a tranquilizer that zaps me so I never fully regain conciousness and they wheel me into the OR unable to say a word. I lose the chance to say goodbye to my family before they maybe kill me.

I lose the entire next day and of course the n-work does not document my objectionstions nor thew doctor note any of that and makes me a liar or hallucinating.

See, I had all the workups done twice in the previous 4 years due to an irregular heartbeat so I know I don't have a cardiac blockage. It turns out they did not tell me it was an irregular heartbeat ( apparently from medication - widely known to cause irregular heart beats ) that was the whole damn thing they were concerned with but wouldn't tell me. Their rape of my heart found no blockage.

2 1/2 years later I'm shaking now trying to calm down from what my psychologist says is close enough to PTSD. In other words the overwhelming rage from their f---ing me in the heart is probably cutting my lifespan in half

I WILL NEVER LET THEM TOUCH ME AGAIN. I WILL KILL THEM FIRST EVEN IF I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK. !!!

There may be some decent people in the profession. Most I've seen are like wives of incest victims. They don't do "that" but they sure as hell don't tell.

Hell with it, I'm sending this out as written. You don't like it, stick it.

PS: the previous workups were in THEIR OWN RECORDS!
 
:eek: Unbelievable! That explains the "carry" comment earlier. Is there any documentation available to bring a lawsuit? Something should be done!
 
Went thru hospital procedures.
Filed with state. 3 months later, they'd done nothing. Then the went, but disputed I'd signed the night before. Said I'd signed at 9 am day of surgery. doctors not e was different, and explained the 5 am shot I hadn't consented to. Blew it off.

I'm still trying to get a order preventing anyone from that office from touching me of reading and diagnosing my files.

I'm calmed down now. 2x .5 mg of xanax has calmed ny body bet not my brain.

I'll lay down and dream of those two airliners hitting St Mary's intead of the twin towers, with a smile on my face. And sharpen my Bauchop Alleycat some more.
