OTHER (not so obvious) uses for SAK Tools

I used the hooked part of the can opener on my Cadet to unhook a fish or two once when I forgot my needlenose pliers. A quick jerk on the hook and it was out cleanly.

Cheers!

Saw this on another site...fits here.

You can do the same thing if you carry a SAK with Cellidor Plus Scales. There's a tiny hole in the scales just behind the philips head screwdriver, or corkscrew that will house a strait pin. Magnetize the strait pin for the same effect.

Used the bottle opener on my rucksack to clean some leftover damper bits off the cooking sticks this week. Easier than using my thumbnail. Some got the blade, but the opener worked for most of it, without raising any fur on the sticks. And the saw notched some of the thicker firewood limbs for easy breaking.

Ive used the bottle opener on a Camper to prize up the edge of some old carpet for stripping. So, stripping up old carpet.

Used the Wharncliffe blade on my Minichamp to cut some pills out of their packaging that I can't seem to open by the recommended method of peeling off the backing and then pushing the pill through the foil. I do better using the little Wharnie to make "the mark of Orro" on each package. :D:D

Just curious, has anyone seen this picture before?, I got it from the SAK Wiki via this page.
It's a tool usage illustration for the Swiss Champ.

They use to put one of those (older version) in a Champion box back in the good old days.....
