ouch

Lost my BM 943. Pretty sure some gaping ahole stole it.
Loved that knife, more so than the 940.
Haven't replaced it yet, waiting for BM to do the -1 CF/S90V thing to it.

I would have to say the knife that i lost that is worth the most above other lost knives would be a $30 gerber fixed blade about 4 years ago. Next down was one of those cheap joker no name brand otf autos that someone stole when they broke in. Then like about 5 husky utility knives.

Had a friend that lost multiples of the Kershaw Blur S30Vs. Kept buying more though.
I hate recurve blade edges.

Haven't lost anything of value yet. I have been lucky enough to recover them quickly when I realize they went missing from my pocket.

It usually happens when I'm carrying something and something like a case of Pepsi or Something of that nature slips between the knife clip and my pocket, pulling the knife out as I lift whatever it is from the car or truck. That happened with my Emerson about 10 years ago. Looked all over the house and found it late that night clipped to the case of pop that I brought in the house.

I bought a Benchmade 300 NS at Cabela's. Lost it the very next day at work.

I haven't yet lost one for good, although I have occasionally misplaced one temporarily in the past.

A while ago I had my grandpa's Old Timer out and I was cleaning it, got distracted and somehow misplaced it. I guess it floated around in limbo for a couple of months before my roommate discovered it and got it back to me. I was quite relieved.

I "lost" a Spyderco Dragonfly 2 in H1 for about a month. But then I found it in the breast pocket of one of my flannels :P I did however recently let my 26yo brother borrow my PM2, in an effort to get him to appreciate a high-quality knife, Vs the budget Kershaws he usually carries.
Took him less than a week to "lose it". >_> Yes, this is a grown man we're talking about here. A grown man who loses things people let him borrow....
