Our "Front Porch" ....

COULD TODAY GO BY ANY SLOWER!!! 7 more minutes till I'm out of work and on my way to Atlanta. Today has been torture waiting to go :)

Who is Scott ????

Does Rubi actually have a first name? "Scott" just doesn't sound right after all this time.......

I often ask for people not to disclose my name in public forums but it's recently been used so often I just let it go. Just sayin'.

I know, Right! It's like seeing the Man behind the curtain and going, "That's him..... oh"

I'm actually a 14 year old girl with braces and a bad perm....... name isn't even Scott and Rubi came from my dolls slippers.
and

I don't have a porch. :o

Rubicon, my mother always insisted on honesty, and I gotta tell ya.....you are a homely looking woman. LOL That is a great pic by the way.

Soooooo, had a cool Blade story and I thought I'd share it. I bought my first Hinderer a year ago at Blade 2013 from a guy named Pedro. He had a table at the show and had a nice selection of Hinderers and they were selling like hot cakes. I wasn't quite sure about it at first and he told me he would hold it for me till I came back. Well, 3 hours later I finally went back for one more look. I really didn't think he would still have it, with as fast as they were selling, but he said I told you I would hold it and pulled it out from under the table. I walked away very grateful for him holding it all that time and for giving me such a good deal on the knife. Well, I figured I'd look him up after Blade and send him a thank you email. Couldn't find him. I messaged Mike Kammer and he told me he was an old buddy of Rick's and gave me his last name. Still couldn't locate him. So finally Blade 2014 rolls around and I keep telling Katy, I have to make sure I find Pedro and tell him thank you for hooking me up with my first Hinderer last year at Blade. Just like last year I started off my Blade at the Hinderer booth. Katy and I are standing there registering and low and behold, Pedro walks up behind us. Was very nice to finally get to thank him and we chatted for a bit. After chatting, Katy and I were off to look around the show. We told Pedro we would come by his table a little later. When we finally got around to Pedro's table, we start up another conversation with Pedro and his wife. They were both so kind and so friendly and we had a great time talking to them. When we were getting ready to leave, Katy asked Pedro where his shop was located. He handed her his card and she elbowed me. I look over at the business card and Pedro's shop is in Tampa, FL 30 minutes from our house. Been looking for the guy for a whole year and he's right under my nose in my hometown. What a small world. :)

Thanks for sharing that story brother. I too met Pedro and his wife and they were very friendly. He had a couple Hinderer's out but not much. He was telling me old stories about him and Rick and I enjoyed my time chatting with him. He kept showing me the picture of Rick from 1989 and pointing out his white pants and "Miami Vice" outfit. Ha!

I don't know if this has already been said, but looks like Monkey Edge has textured CF scales for the XM24 in stock.

Cool story, sounds like you, everyone else, had a great time at Blade. Maybe some year I'll make it.

My weekend wasn't a total loss, attended a couple car shows and meet some new friends.
