Our "Front Porch" ....

BT that MTB makes me miss mine. Since kids I haven't ridden in a long while. Poor guy is sitting in the garage collecting dust. Use to do 60-80 miles a week between the MTB and road bike. Built the MTB from the frame up so every time I think of selling it I can't bring myself to do it. Eventually the kids will be riding around and I'll need something to chase them down the road on.

Thanks, I built mine too, a few years ago. Being 5'7" made finding an off-the-shelf 29er that fit hard to find, so I made my own. I got lots of good riding in last summer while I was unemployed (felt like a summer vacation!).

As for the GTO, just a new factory-looking intake from Australia is planned, and maybe get my rear valance painted body color.

You know.....every time I get annoyed / pissed / irritated by something or generally think I've got "big" problems.......I always manage to find something that makes me realize I'm an idiot........I should get over it........and just push on.........
This morning it was a snail.......
I watched him for 5 minutes.......crawling along, with his house on his back, over - what must have seemed to him like - the endless expanse of my driveway........
He made it about an inch and a half......then appeared to stop and take a break.......tired.......exhausted from his efforts.......
Somehow that made me realize I don't have problems worth getting worked up over.........
Came inside........made a cup of coffee.......felt a whole lot better.........and I am looking forward to what the day has to offer........
Sometimes a little perspective can make you realize a much bigger truth.........
Anyway.......hope today is a good day for all of you.......

Thanks for sharing Ross. Hope everything is well with you. This is just what I needed today for work. Hope everyone else has a great day.

You too! If I am feeling down, I just go to WalMart.

Looking forward to the air show this weekend, with the F-22 Raptor team.

I enjoyed reading your post very much, nice pace - relaxing. :)

I liked that post as well. But most days I just pick up the "snail" and move it out of my way, then carry on...

What an incredible pics! Thanks for sharing. How did you take them? Wow!

Thanks! I use a Nikon D7000 with a Tamron 18-270mm (most of these all the way out to 270mm), and I shoot in raw, with a little Photoshop tweaking. Oh, and no tripod, with the camera set to Auto!
