Hey Guys, just got back in from a quick overnight on the boat in Prince William Sound going after some shrimp. This was my first trip out with this boat, I like it
Hooked up and ready to roll:
Skies were grey and we got some rain, but the water was flat..
Ready to press out:
Skies cleared up, 300HP of Yamaha 4-stroke goodness:
Some random scenery:
Glacier ahead:
Sunrise the next morning:
Some of the catch:
Spot shrimp w/ 3.5" spanto for size comparison and a bit of Hinderer relevance
It was a quick but glorious trip. Other than a bit of chop coming back in today and some 3-4' breakers yesterday I couldn't have asked for better weather, I love waking up to glassy seas. The water in most of those pics is anywhere from 300-1000' deep. Saw sea otters, Dall Porpoise (swam around boat several times), 3x Killer Whales, a bunch of seals, a few bald eagles, and a couple bushels of spot and tiger shrimp
Left good camera at home, but tried to take a pano with the iPhone..
