Out of Africa...K'roo.

Understandable, and I would never ask you too.

I was mostly curious because a K’roo is on my list, and I would love warthog for cover material. :)
Being one that has not ordered many, you may be ok.
I have a knife with bleached kudu and a seller has the same knife in Warthog. So it can be done.

Giraffe needs a Cities to ship out of Africa as it is a controlled material, I believe.

If I recall correctly, giraffe got added recently. I will need to research to make sure that I am not spreading false information.

Willem did mention what you just stated. Then added it's ridiculous, because the bones are found everywhere.

Hi,
Kudu is fine, Willem has mentioned, government is pushing to get giraffe on banned list.
Michael, I think he will definitely answer your questions and concerns.

Glad to hear it hasn’t gone through yet. :)

Yes, there are some ridiculous bans on items from Africa that our western society has pushed for…but that is a political topic and maybe for a different thread.

I will have to get off my butt and on the horse to just go ahead and order my first K’roo knife. :)

And a stellar example.👌
I cannot remember which takes a dye better, Kudu or giraffe.
Thank you kindly Bob. I don’t know the answer either. Based on my knives I believe kudo is more porous than camel bone. My kudo has occlusions (right word?) or small holes/pits which are developing with carry. It’s pretty cool.

I have never carried a camel bone as much but the ones I do have seen to be a more dense material than kudo.

Thanks...I believe I have heard the same thing.

Update
Well a gentleman's two knives made with Warthog tucks made it to my address. The package was opened and inspected, but there was no delay.
I guess I am not on the watch list as the other gentleman is. ( whose packages go through Belgium. )

Very sleek & unadorned, fine blade:handle ratio too. You have a huge collection of his work now
Good morning Will.
This swayback is very comfortable in the hand. I enjoy creating my own look and choosing the design.
Throughout the collection, there is no issues with fit& finish.

I have a collection of vintage knives, which I hesitate to use. With these new creations, they ride in my pocket to cut.
Be well,
Bob
