Also got a cheap small drill press vise and the stuff to make a larger drill press table.

Lastly I built another work bench for my Portaband saw and Belt grinder. Now my plan was to get the Milwaukee 6238-20 which seems like a really good saw for the money and the Swag offroad table for it. They offer the 'Appearance Package' for it and I am kind of going back and forth on it. $20 extra bucks for a powder coated top and zinc legs or I can rattle can it myself. Is it worth the $20?

Get the KMG,you will be happy with it.

Yeah the KMG seems pretty nice to me. However I have a few questions about it.

I plan on getting the Variable Speed KMG-10, small wheel attachment and a few small wheels. Is there any other accessories I should get for it since I shipping is so high I just want to order once you know. Also it comes with a 2HP motor with the option of a 3HP motor, I might be wrong here but 2HP seems like more then enough power but if I am wrong correct me. The site says it runs on 110 or 220VAC would it be worth it to run 220 out to my shop or is 110 good enough?

Everyone is always wanting more power but IMHO my 1.5 HP runs perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Having said that though, nobody ever said I wish I had less power. Always go with the 220 if that is a reasonable option. Your motor will be happier as it will draw half the amps and an even bigger reason in you case is that using 110 will limit the actual output of the motor to 1.5 HP rendering the extra power you bought moot.

You gotta have 220 for 2hp and up.Since this is your first grinder pick a few things and get them.there is no way you can get everything you need all at one time.Unless you are independently wealthy.Order the stuff you mentioned and get started.you will find other needs along the way.
