Rescue Riley, JV3, two of Riley's friends, and I spent a beautiful spring day and night in Harriman from Tuesday thru Wednesday.

It was great to meet JV-3, he is allot of fun around the fire and fits in just perfectly with our crew of wilderness missfits.

One of John's friends didn't stay the night but helped us gather some firewood and shared some laughs. The other did stay, and was a very cool guy as well.

Here are some pics, and hopefully they will post up some photos of their own.

My home for the night

Riley's home

JV3's home

John's friend nursing the fire.

Lunch time

We tried some hunting and gathering..

The cold weather has kept the spring edible plants from coming up, so we took to the streams... Riley is quite the Crawfish hunter.

Like I said, JV3 fits in perfectly with us..

John made a pretty good meal. Hawain Suprise. look how proud our kitchen bitch is.

Breakfast

and some scenery on the way out.

Great time, thanks for looking

Awesome pics man, looks like a blast. Except for the whisky, I can't hang with that stuff

Wow , you managed to find a couple of warm days ! Here in Sullivan Co we're getting 3-6" of snow tonight and tomorrow.
Mon and Tue they were looking for plants --and found 7,000 marijuana plants !! $ 20million worth and the 15 illegals that grew it.The closest place was only2 miles from me !

Where did you get your tarps?

Riley's is a Army poncho, not sure on JV3'S, and my tarp is a 10' x10' Bushcraft USA tarp made by Etowah outfitters

Great pics! Looks like a pretty area? Is that a shelter in the background?

Why yes sir it is. Good eye HD:thumbup:

Looks like the "usual" great time, sorry I missed it - I'll be there for the next one.

Yeah, and I don't know how you guys eat that crap:barf:

Camping treat! :D

That's about the only time I eat it these days. Just brings back good memories of camping many years ago when I was much younger and my dad was still around, then camping with my children when they were young. Good stuff. Thanks for posting up the pics!

Looks like fun Guys.

Tony, you've been logging a lot of Harriman time lately. Great hiking and camping there fo' sho'.
