I tried sleeping in one of those cheap little mesh hammocks that fold up the size of your fist years ago on a college geology field trip. I had a few beers before bed time and it took me a few tries to get into the darn thing.
I've always liked the idea of the jungle hammocks. I've also always wondered how it's possible to get into the hammock AND into your sleeping bag at the same time.

Yeah it takes practice. I laid my sleeping bag out completely unzipped in the hammock, sat on it, shimmied into the hammock, then zipped up my bag. Jake sat on the edge of his hammock and pulled his bag up, then twisted and got into his hammock. Both ways seemed to work okay.:thumbup:

Andy it reallyy is a beaut. The lacewood is gorgeous. I saw it get batoned though some wood and it made me all warm inside

Your always welcome dude!!:thumbup: I can reccomend it, they are really nice for the price. I bought a cheaper one to see what the buzz is about, and I wont ever go without one again. Im gonna save up for one like TonyM has, or a hennese now with a new tarp, my tarp was about a foot too short.

I got out last night for some car camping over here in RI, chilly but I was comfy & warm in my bag & tent.
I may have to try out the hammock thing eventually, but it makes it a bit harder to share a sleeping space with your significant other!

We tried to figure out a way to hook them together, then we could've snuggled to stay warm. We had to settle for being side by side.
I'm about 90 minutes or so from Jake. You are allowed to come hang out with us if you bring free knives.
