For sale is a full convex fixed blade made by Owlknife company from Russia.
Blade length is 4.3", thickness - 0.155" (4mm)
The steel used for the blade is very rare Carpenter PSF59 - a spray formed steel with high cromium (2.5%), molybdenum (1.25%), and vanadium (9.3%) content. The steel composition is somewhat similar to CPM 10V, see:
http://zknives.com/knives/steels/psf59.shtml
However, according to the knifemaker, the steel is even more wear resistant than CPM 15V, which is also confirmed by the steel supplier's datasheet graphs.
Only two PSF59 knives were made on a special order. This knife is the last one, and it has been reprofiled to make the convex more shallow. It features zero grind convex edge, polished natural micarta scales, tang is about 3/4 of the handle length, comes with black kydex sheath with tek lock.
The knife is hair popping sharp and will stay that way for a long time.
