"PAGE 13" INFI Grab Bag ! ! ! !

I have the maps and notes, drawn and written by Jerry's own hand, to one of the unfound nuclear payloads, in Cucamunga (about an hour outside of L.A.). I have good info to help find the location, too. But I don't drive, and thus, can't get out there.

According to Jerry, it is the largest payload of all. Anyone wanna join me for an adventure?

Seriously!

I've been up there three times looking for the M.O.A.P. (Mother Of All Payloads) and have come back empty-handed each time. I did got a good dose of poison ivy/oak on both arms the first trip. :(
I haven't been able to make another trip since last year's fires, so I'm itchin' ;) to make another visit. Good luck with your search Mike!

Mike,
Are you talking about Rancho Cucamunga? If so I'll be out there June 2nd through the 9th, about 40 minutes away in Tustin. If you have a legit map, I'll meet up with you for an afternoon and do a search! My wife will come too, the three of us should be able to figure it out.

Bryan,

Let me know if you can get to Kalifornia.

--Mike

You going to be around there in Oct? I will definatley look into it. If it's a Mother Load, I'll spend 2 days and 4 bills on a flight. Just gotta figure out a time to take off work and get my finances set. Keep me updated via email. ;) And if you need help with internet research, just holler. :D

Hey Jerry, next time you get drunker, send me a map near AK ;) :D

Bryan,

It's hard for me to predict where I'll be more than a few weeks in advance. October is usually a busy time, photographing Autumn foliage, migratory birds, first snows, ice patterns, storm clouds and lightning, etc--but a lot depends on temperature, precipitiation, volcanic eruptions (they affect the quality of the sunset colors, in case you're wondering), and various wacky things I can't predict or control. We'll stay in touch and try to work it out.

Jody,

I'm not sure that "the pride of cucamonga" is saying much :D but it's good enough for me. Come out West! Thar be steel (pre-INFI) treasure to plunder!

Some of my old stomping grounds before I discovered the wonders of INFI. Come to think of it, there was one lunch spot where my compass didn't point exactly north.....
