I'm mildly concerned, not in a rip-off sense (I still have the Boney Active Duty after all) but in a potential lost-funds sense and the general PITA for everyone that this is beginning to be (and damn it... it's my first sale here too).

The terms of the sale were such that I needed the funds in-hand by yesterday/Saturday afternoon. As of now they've not arrived and I haven't yet heard back from Trekker2 after letting him know that via email yesterday.

We exchanged a couple of emails previously and he has good feedback and all, but the last I heard from him was an email at 3p Thursday saying the funds were on the way, and they should have arrived by Saturday but didn't.

So, anyway, does anyone know how to reach him other than via the email here, and if so - would you mind pinging him for me? I really need to speak with him and would appreciate some help.

Just to help with time lines and all...How was payment to be made? Paypal? PMO? etc...

And this will most likely be moved to TGTBTU where these sorts of issues are dealt with.

I emailed him last night saying the funds never arrived, asking for tracking info and general status, and I haven't yet heard back yet.

I doubt it's anything sinister or whatever, so I want to be careful about the tone and such, but it is starting to be a real Charlie-Foxtrot so I was just looking for public help in reaching Trekker2 more than anything.

my questions about the rules and such have been taken offline to mods via PM so I'd rather avoid as much of that here as possible (I wish I could edit the flipping thread title).

Anyway, thanks for looking and trying to help so far.

Great, thanks. Please just delete the second half about the rules question - this thread is just intended to get public help in reaching Trekker2 in case he has some friends around here.
 
give it some time. you guys should have utilized a different payment method if you were in such dire straits. While priority should have been there, it could not show up for another week, which is of no fault of the sender. Also perhaps the sender is on a weekend trip and hasnt been online?

So true. I have had priority from across the US arrive in as little as 2 days while other times, more than a week from/to locals much closer. Sometimes it just happens. :o
 
Last week, Trekker2 sent me an inquiry about two knives. I quoted him a deal and asked him to let me know.

Not another peep from him. I sent two more emails asking him to let me know, but I never heard back.
 
Trekker2 purchased a knife from me via paypal and just after the funds hit my account PP put a freeze on the transaction for investigation because of different addresses. I replied to the investigation but he would not reply to PP even though he sent me one email saying it was cleared up. I cancelled the transaction. In following the excahange I have noticed several people having to repost items that he had tried to purchase that fell through. I have noticed 2 different emails being used as well. Fair warning. PS I have noticed sales that were completed as well.

what happened in above post doesn't sound good,
But if he did mail it Thur there is no way they can always guarantee 2 day mailing. You should get it today I would think. Sometimes it takes three days, or more if it was put in a Priority envelope. USPS says Priority envelope is just as fast, but mine always takes a few days that way. I started putting them in the small video box and they mostly always get there in 2 days.

I would not put myself in a situation where I HAD to have the money in 3 days. That's alot to ask from buyer, unless you list it as paypall only, and it's still going to take a few days to clear your bank.

Hope you get the MO today. Do keep us imformed please.
