Sets have been a bit of a thing for me over the years. For obvious reasons my knife collection is very heavy with South African makers. A few of mine.........

Ben Tendick

Des Horn

Howard Hitchmough

Dixon Fighters from various makers with Burgundy Micarta. (apologies the photo is not great)

You have impeccable taste, my friend. Those Horns and the two from Hitchmough. Ugh.

Here’s a Busse piggyback set from back in ~2016/2017. The WTF and WTH (Wartrain Fusion Battle Mistress, and Wartrain Handcar). Yes, Chad Pirtle made the leather!

If we can make it a trio, here’s an additional one in matching colors (I stripped the black coating off the blade here). The Busse BT6 (Bowie Team 6), which is one of my primary hunting belt knives. Also wearing Chad’s masterful leatherwork!

Here are two that Paul / CPE_Knives CPE_Knives made for me that I’m still very fond of:

#Not R... But I was also wondering about those black things that are attached to the underside of your Cabriolet hood?
Ah, that's a vacuum reservoir. VW has used some sort of plastic sphere design (that is used similarly today, although smaller an usu single sphere now) after the early 70s. Before then they used to tap into the spare tire air pressure to help with actuating various mechanisms, but then the spare would go flat if you didn't fill it regularly. They then moved from some positive to all negative pressure systems.

On bugs they used the spare tire for the windshield washers. On your cabriolet the vacuum reservoir is for emission controls and is needed for activations on start up and at other times when the engine does not provide enough vacuum.
