Yeah, the hard thin, the primary goes right up to and practically touches the signature.

I've found it pretty easy to distinguish between the standard and the hard/thin FK2 without a swedge.

But with the FK2 swedge samples... the difference is harder to see.

Are these the handles for the HDFK and SDFK? I didn’t expect them to taper in so much. Is that comfortable? I had thought that they flared out more at the pommel. Interesting. I obviously don’t have either yet but have been ISO.

Are these scales on the MC the same?

No, totally different knives. I’m thinking the top 2 are Shiv and UF, while the bottom 2 are HDFK and SSDFK.

MC will look more like the bottom 2, and they do flare outward some towards the butt.

Different knives and some weird angles in the (quite excellent) photography. The HDFK, SDFK, have significant flare at the butt, they don't taper in.

A lot of my knives are narrow at the rear at the top of the scale and wider at the bottom because that fits the inside of your hand (opposite at the front), but a close-up shot can look a little strange and not convey the actual shape of the handle.
