As you know, forum member Jerry Peasley passed away this week.

Stevomiller has generously offered a 15" Sirupati for raffle. It is in the tooled scabbord, which sounds as if it might be pre illness Bura and an older blade. Ferrous has offered to make a bunch of marks on it...etching, yeah; he called it etching. Those of you who seen photos or are lucky enough to have a sample know how good he is.

IF no one with paypal steps forward, I'll accept the checks and send the money. Five bucks a ticket. I guess this isn't too difficult- I get some tickets, write your names on them, throw them into a hat and pull out Bruce's name? People who have done this before might be of some help.

I'm putting in 40.00 and am not participating in the raffle.

I have some concern about overseas checks- I wrote one once for a person in Great Britain and the bank wanted to charge her more than the check to cash it. It's not like I bank with Siberia.

Bill can probably tell me if there are any problems with that.
I haven't checked with Bill-so this needs his OK, but other raffles have happened before so I figure it'll be OK.

This thing needs to be done. Mrs Jerry Peasley needs some help.

thank you,

munk

Can't help with the PayPal, but count on me for 2 tickets.

We need to put an end date on this, took, Munk. 1 week?

Munk could you either send me your address or post it for everyone? My email is in my profile. Thanks

No one stepping up for the paypal donations? Its the only way I can send something that wont bounce higher than a basketball dropped from the Sear's tower. :(

Federico- put a fiver in an envelope, or buy a money order at the Post Office.

A week is fine. Next Friday; right? But the blade may take longer- for it needs to be shipped to Ferrous and he needs to ship it to the lucky one. The Pappy Memorial Sirupati.

I haven't decided what to do about my address; for various reasons of privacy and protection, that is something I've avoided at least publically on the forum. Naturally, most of you know me and you can have my real address. Email me.

Paypal is the easiest for me.

Cash isn't too bad, but I don't trust the mail folks.

Money orders cost a couple bux.

Either or, gimme an address.

Munk says to email him for his address. It's much easier than him trying to email everyone that wants it. :p

Munk if no one steps up to handle the paypal thats probably what Ill do. Just with paypal could make something a little better. Either way not interested in the raffle. Is there a time period we are looking at? I figure Ill be able to send something out by this monday.

Fed- don't worry about timing. I'll cover all sincere pledges.

Guys, I don't know if I'm just paranoid or what- I spent 10 years in mental health and worked with the criminally insane. My wife is still in the field- while I'm merely insane. So PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR ADDRESS.

Bruce- a money order from the PO office cost something like 90 cents.

email for address
