I got lucky and scored one from a Canadian dealer, Warriors and Wonders. They only received a few in the first batch they received and sold out quickly. I think I got the last one because they showed "out of stock" after my order went through. It was a little more expensive than KC but I'm not complaining.

Hey Jim, What am I looking at here on your regrind? Did you make it a Zero-grind or what? I can't really tell but I'm also a knife-newb. I guess it just looks like a shallow bevel but I don't really know.

Please, elaborate on what you did there.

It was reground by a Custom Maker really thin, the edge bevel is 30 degrees inclusive.

Just use and sharpen. It'll come out in no time.

All better. To be honest I havnt used it that much .diinged it up in the begining of week havnt had time to sharpen.I have been carrying 0551I hated elmax at first but now I'm iin love. I used the para for a week and I saw very little edge wear, it most certainly is amazing

I opted not to mail it back due to sticky lock. It doesn't seems to be getting better but I guess it will over time.

I've heard of a few people fix their sticky comp locks by tweaking the stop pin. It's worth a try.
