para 2?

Yep, probably take up to five or ten minutes to sell it for $130. (I've sold maybe 20-30 of them in the last year)

 Still don't know if you like it?

Shouldn't you have a dealer membership if you are buying that many of one model and turning around and flipping them? Surely at a good profit and not out of the goodness of your heart. Or maybe you do it for the children. The children!

Problem is, idk if i like it or if i like it because everyone talks about it. 130 isnt a lot but to buy it wait for it get it be unsatisfied then have to go through trying to resell it is kind of a pain.

I could tell you are a newbie. Most of us go through that process every, every, every day. And $130 is CHEAP.
It's called the eternal search for the holy grail. Perhaps you're not a knife guy.

Do you guys think i should just wing it and take a shot in the dark and get the benchmade presidio ultra?

Why not do SOMETHING? I don't mean to flame you, but WTH? You went past the "enough" mark many posts ago. Start somewhere, with something. The PM2 is a great knife; BenchMade makes lots of good stuff. Pick one.

$130 seems kind of overpriced for what you get. I never liked the bad handle/blade ratio it has and for that price you could find something like a Benchmade Contego.

I've never heard one of in good repair failing. There were a few gritillians that had some out of spec locks leave benchmade a few years ago but other than that and the once in a blue moon omega spring failure that lock will not fail outside of severe and unreasonable abuse.

I wouldn't say that. I had an axis lock spring break out of normal high volume use. I still like the knife and the axis lock but the design of the springs seems a bit delicate to me. Maybe if it were designed to use some other kind of spring system like a dual titanium leaf spring then it would be more durable.

There's a certain Knife store that has an exclusive mini Presidio in CPM-M4, just fyi

Compared to what else is out there I think $130 is an ok price for what you are getting but not great. Though knowing how much I like the knife now, I'd be more likely to spend a bit more for it and it's displaced more expensive knives out of my pocket as of late. There's zero risk with a PM2 at $130, if you don't like it, it will take you 5 minutes to sell it for what you paid and that includes boxing it up, but yes that can be a hassle. If you are not a knife nut searching for the "perfect knife" it might seem silly but most are forced to do a lot of "buy and try, then sell". There's usually a reason a knife like the PM2 is as popular as it is, but it's not for everyone, it's just a very good combination of features in a light package and no knife is great for everyone.

Now if you really want value I think the Manix 2 G10 is one of the best going, you can find the satin blade for $85, still S30V, it's larger/heavier than the PM2 but is a great knife as well, very solid. I find myself using the PM2 more just because it's lighter and takes up less pocket room and I prefer handles that don't have sharply defined finger grooves like the Manix 2 does but every time I open the Manix I'm impressed by how solid it feels and locks up. Price wise though it's hard to argue that at $85 the Manix 2 isn't a better value for the knife itself than the PM2 at $130. Though the PM2 has more work involved in producing it, relieved G10 scales, cut outs in the steel liners, lock bar fitting etc. so it's going to cost more.
