Para 3 cts-204p OD/FDE Coated

I do like that this knife shows up with a different color make-up as compared to the relentless jade/natural G10 scales that have been released as dealer exclusives of late. However would of rather seen a Para 2 or Native 5
 
If the Od green/fde blade were darker, I would have been turned off but they seem to be on the lighter side.
 
Some pics are throwing me off. Is the Coating a bronze like color or a tan muddy Brown?

If it looks bronze in the sunlight I might be in for one and just swap the scales or give them away as a gift.

Im getting both this and bentos blue, A "bronze" Blade rocking black hardware and a scale swapped blue or cruwear white g10 sounds awesome. and by the looks of it, This blade is going to sell out FAST. Might as well try it while I can for that awesome price point.

Have they said anything about a second batch yet?
 
I didn't ask about the 2nd batch. I actually didn't preorder from the first batch, because i was planning to make it down there the next day.
I saw on their site that it sold out so i gave up on it, but he kept some aside to sell at his store front. So i definitely lucked out. Right place, right time kind of thing.
Im planning to swing by there this weekend as well, I'll try and find out what the game plan is.
 
These pics look really great! I think I'm sold on the color, I'll order one once they come back in stock.
 
Pictures have trouble picking up the exact color of the blade. It definitely looks better in person. I might even consider picking up another one when next batch arrives at River edge.
 
This is the first coated blade I've owned other than some cheap freebies and I have to say that I really like the color. Also, this was the first Para3 I've had where no pivot tuning was required to get it to just the right balance between falling shut and no blade wiggle. Just have to throw a black deep carry clip on there.
 
I put a bronze clip on my OD/DLC PM2 and it looked OK but I eventually swapped it out for a black deep carry clip.

I got a notification that my OD/FDE Para 3 was delivered to my mailbox at the postal store this afternoon. It’s way ahead of schedule especially considering I opted for free shipping. Going to swing by there tomorrow and pick it up.

The only extra deep carry clip I have on hand at the moment is a blue anodized one from MXG that I bought to put on the Rex45 PM2 whenever it releases. I could scavenge a black one off a PM2 I never use but might as well Place an order for a few more MXG clips in black, blue, and bronze. The best part about a bronze anodized clip is that it turns into a satin or polished clip very quickly by wiping it off with any type of polishing compound or flitz.

Man that looks nice! I’m seriously going to go find one to order for mine. I wonder if I can find some bronze ano hardware too...
