Yea it's freaking awesome, it's actually the MXG gear deep carry bronze, I like those better for the para 3, more sleek less boxy, less hot spots

REC confirmed on the Spyderco Forum that there will be another release of "a couple hundred more", but doesn't know when that will be.
 
Just got mine and it bit my left pinky finger while I was adjusting the pivot. It’s as sharp as a knife can come out of the box, I can confirm that. Guessing the PVD coating causes a little more friction against the washers than a plain blade. I’ll polish and oil the blade around the pivot but it’s not the end of the world. I can open and close it fine just using the compression lock.

I ordered some bronze and black MXG clips this morning and they already shipped. Probably my 5th order with him this year, great service every time.
 
For those of you who have one of these, is your middle standoff silver or is it black like the lanyard barrel and stop pin?
 
I passed on this but I keep looking at this version and it looks better every time. That Lynch clip looks perfect on it too. Glad I'm not alone in kicking myself for not getting one. Great looking knife and congrats to all that got one

Same boat. I was knocking it saying “why would you coat stainless steel” blah blah blah and now I’m sitting here alone and grumpy because I didn’t go to the party I was invited to. Lol
 
I was lucky to get one. Kicking myself for not ordering 2. First world problems...

I would like to get a clip done in FDE PVD to match the blade. Don't know if that's even possible.
 
I’ve been carrying mine exclusively for the past week or so. What a nice little blade. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for other Para3 flavors.
