Good point. Thanks.In the sticky, Kristi wrote that the Reveal knives are expected within 90-120 days. Depending on how you interpret that, some of them could come much sooner than 90 days. That would be my guess anyway.

I know they use foreign steels, M390 for example, but specifically Japanese because of the split manufacturing?
Lol... I will Never again pre order with them. I am quickly running up to a year on a pre-order with them for a V-TOKU2 Stretch.
And maybe save another $20+ for not buying an aftermarket clip, for those so inclined.Wow $40 US cheaper is quite the price savings!![]()
Totally agree...tried twice with them and nothing ever was delivered and I got in early both times.Dude, you misunderstand the whole concept of preordering from Knifecenter. You're not actually ordering a knife, you're ordering the monthly privilege of getting an email from them assuring you that they're hard at work on your order. And they faithfully deliver on it EVERY month. For ALL TIME.
It's a great deal.
I believe the liners are not full. They are only present at the site of the lock.I want one also. I like it but wish for the regular clip. I'm not really complaining about it though. Pretty excited about a nice design like this in FRN. I read, "simplified compression lock" whatever that means.
Does it have liners?
@Sal Glesser
I like it and will most likely own one at some point. Too bad the FRN Police wasn’t on the update. I’m still anxiously waiting to see that one.
I would say that BD1 is a pretty good equivalent to 14C28N, this version (BD1N) is a significantly improved alloy thanks to the Nitrogen addition, edge retention should be somewhere in the 154CM/D2/good VG10/good 440C category and corrosion resistance and toughness are excellent.I think think is the Spyderco for me this year! Love FRN and love the comp lock.
But BD1N, how does it compare to Sandvik 14c28n? I have waited for a Spyderco with less carbide, and more edge stability for lower angles, if BD1N is in this category this is a winner for me!
Ok, thank you. If it’s like 14c28n and between 60-63 hrc, the possibility for low angles and easy sharpening makes this a no-brainer. I need this. Possibly in full SE too. I couldn’t stand the thought of having to repair a serrated s30v edge, but now I’m a happy manI would say that BD1 is a pretty good equivalent to 14C28N, this version (BD1N) is a significantly improved alloy thanks to the Nitrogen addition, edge retention should be somewhere in the 154CM/D2/good VG10/good 440C category and corrosion resistance and toughness are excellent.
Probably depends on whether you use the choil or not.I'm curious how this one will balance given the lightweight handle. I don't know if most people care about how a folder balances but I don't like when it's blade-heavy such that it feels like it's falling forward when gripped loosely.
