The PM3 looks out of proportion to me, to much handle for to little blade.
My mate has one that I have looked at and am not interested in it at all.
Just my opinion though

A major factor for me is how the knife carries in the pocket. This is especially true since the knife spends 99% of its time there. For me, a longer knife just feels better in the pocket because it has ballast and is less likely to jump out without your consent. So I would take a 2 over a 3, and a "1" over a 2.

I personally consider a 3 1/2 inch blade on a folder to be average, not large. I consider a 4 inch blade large, and a 3 inch blade small. I ve never held a PM3, but I doubt there is much difference in the closed width between the PM2 and PM3. So they would take up about the same amount of room in the pocket.

I carried an Endura for a few years in the past. I still edc 3 1/2 to 4 inch blades. I can get by with a three inch blade, as I ve found out recently with the Hold Out 3. But I prefer to do better than just get by.

If you'd have asked me a year ago, I'd have said the P3 as it is a little less "scary" for some easily frightened people. Now that I'm retired and am not in contact with the public all that much, I'm leaning more to the PM2 and am lately carrying it more often.

The P3 is a nice little knife, but I now prefer the size of the PM2 and carry it more and more.

I prefer the Para3, although it's still somewhat of a pocket hog because of its width. The PM2's extra blade length seems to all be in the tip, which doesn't add much utility for me but is a common point of failure (even for those who aren't prying or otherwise abusing it). That's also the reason I very much prefer the Leaf-shaped blade over the PM2 shape.

I would have to go with the Para3, I don't really feel under knifed and people rarely bat an eye at sub 3" blades. There's nothing wrong with the Para2 either, it's on my short list but I haven't ended up picking one up just yet.

PM2 proved just a bit too big for me to EDC.
PM3 doesn't appeal since I already have a Native 5 in my EDC rotation.

As already mentioned, if you don't have a blade restriction, consider the Military over the PM2.

Prefer the size of the Para 3 vs Para 2; I however also prefer the ergos of the Native 5 (as well as the blade shape) vs the Para 3. Bottom line all 3 are great knives.

Go try them out or both if money isn't an issue. Sell the one you like the least. If you get them used you'll only lose a few bucks or break even.

I have both the 2 and 3 and I can open the PM3 easier. The geometry or the radius from the center of the Spider hole to the center of the pivot is different. Opening the PM3 is just an easy thumb movement for me, the PM2 is not as natural.

Yes, my favorite is actually the Native. I have two P3s and am selling one without plans to ever buy another. And I have four Natives which I am keeping and am going to buy at least two more. Also, the number of my Native Chiefs and Millies will increase.
