Hey, I have a tough decision to make i dont know which knife to buy the zt or the para 2? If you had this decision what knife would you choose to get? I know all the difference between the two but i just dont know which to buy? So if you had any suggestions they would greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kyle:D

Darn, both are great knives, depends on your preferences. ZT is assisted, recurved blade, heavier, thicker. The PM2 is a slicer, lighter, well jimped.

I chose to get the ZT first, and the PM2 second :D They are both great knives, you can't go wrong either way.

I've owned both. They're both great knives, but I sold the 350. The ergonomics didn't do it for me. The handle felt too blocky and short for my hands. For comparing, I wear size 11 in gloves. Other than that, it was a great knife.

The Para is one of the best knives I've ever owned. I won't list all the good things about it, as its been said a thousand times before, but rest assured its all true :D

I have a zt 0350. Love it, use it all the time. Keep looking myself at para 2's. I like the fact that you have a few choices of color for the handles, with the satin or coated blade. Also you have the option to get a few different steels if you are willing to pay of course. You do have a few blade options on the zt too with the composite blade, coated, tiger stripe, and stone wash but not the handle.

That's a VERY tough decision in my opinion. They are both great knives. What's your intended purpose for the knife? Have you held both in hand? If you're going to EDC the knife I might suggest the PM2 since it's a slightly slimmer and lighter package to carry. If you have real big hands you might appreciate the ZT more, it's really beefy and stout in the hand. I really like both knives. I've got a PM2 now and will be getting a 0350 soon.

I have both. I prefer the Para 2 for EDC. It's lighter and slices better. Plus, I prefer the tip style as it works better for opening packages, letters, peeling apples, etc. The grip is very ergonomic (for me).

sold my zt350 after I picked up a Para 2.
Both great knives but the Para 2 is lighter and slimmer.

I have both and love both immensely. Even though they don't get much pocket time now with my 0560, I could not pick between the two.

I chose the zt 0301/0300 over the military and para mil. The zt's are built way better and are more durable. That is my main criteria. I always choose for durability in use.

PM2 hands down. It is better ergonomically, better slicer, lighter in weight, fit and finish is better. I started with a ZT 350, had 6 ZT's at one point. Now I have only one ZT, my first, the 350. The Spyderco fit and finish is just outstanding on the PM2. My small collection now has 3 PM2's.

I have and love both knives. I've been using a Para 2 for over a week and really like it. If my EDC chores were more hard use I would choose the 350, but since i'm just cutting food, opening packages and cardboard i'm gonna with the Para 2 because the thinner blade is a better slicer. Tough call, i really like both.

Got both and ultimately the Para2 won out for me.

The P2 has great ergonomics, superior blade shape, no springs and such to worry about failure and is much easier to sharpen and maintain. The 350 has more "cool" appeal.

This is just my opinion though.

I forgot to mention that if you're annoyed by slight amounts of blade play then the 0350 is a better option. And if you don't like the assisted mechanism you can always remove it. According to CrimsonTideShooter/jdavis882 the 0350 works just great as a manual opener.

My Para 2 doesn't have any bladeplay...
I don't have the 0350 (which I'm sure is great), but I love my Para 2.

You said hands down PM2 but then said out of 6 ZT's you owned the 0350 is the only one you kept. Pretty high praise don't you think? Not saying you're wrong in your opinion of course just found it ironic a little lol.
