Weird...eBay just had one pop up by a reputable seller for only $109 black G10 & another one digicam black blade for $144 but both sold in just minutes, i know because i was the buyer...LOL....next time you guys gotta buy it immediately. Don't hesitate.

BTW: instead of buying one knife for each set of scales, I can actually swap them like changing clothing? I really just want to mess around with one knife....because you know spyderco, once you take it apart, voids the warranty.
 
Swapping the scales shouldn't be too hard. I have taken apart every other Spyderco (that isn't pinned) I own with little difficulty. Even the Southard comes right apart. Also, I have not heard about Spyderco denying warranties due to normal dissasembly/service. As long as you send them the knife properly assembled, and the problem doesn't relate to your reassembly, they shouldn't give you a problem.
 
Indeed some PM 2's are. I went to the store and the Digi Camo one was sold out, within minutes of this post. I did a search and all PM2's were sold out. I was pretty bummed.

Went and got a drink and just for the heck of it refreshed the page and the Black PM2 with Plain edge was in stock. I snagged one!
 
a store that sells spyderco stuff has the black g10 plain and black blade in stock...not sure how many are left though

Just checked. The site says they're 'in stock' until you try to place an order. That's when you find out there aren't any left...

bummed to have missed this. The black/satin version is the one I want...
