I heard he's designing fantasy swords for the BudK catalog?

Start-up is always a bitch. Nothing ever goes according to the original schedule.

Is he doing road/street bikes or BMX/off-road bikes?

Congrats to him going out on a limb to start his own business and here's hoping all the kinks get worked out of the system.
Sure is. He had locks made, and he's had them for a bit. The idea was to sell the locks with the bikes, but the bikes got delayed. Street bikes for now, but he's thinking about BMX as well.

i heard its because KA-BAR found a stash of Kyber (kaiburr) crystals and will now be focusing on selling Lightsabers instead.

Got some new seats for the fire pit.

Huh....Maybe Cold Steel will actually start putting out some useful designs.
Ethan Becker and Lynn Thompson sounds like a match made in heaven...

well, some of you are probably old enough to remember that the early cold steel stuff was *gold*

these days, more like *platinum*... those original san mai kukris? big bucks now. a lot of their early "same as" 1095cv knives, were pretty damn skippy, and nobody on the market had anything like that. edge retention. beefy. sharp. hot damn.

yeah, they went a little nuts on stuff, but they still have a unique product. undeniably american crazy, but i love it.

they also basically pioneered glass reinforced nylon knives and whatnot. they're like Casio - they were early, if not first, and may not be well known for that, but so mote it be :D

Casio? remember them? first to market with calculators, digital cameras, and a host of other electronics.

Driving down from Upstate at 4am this morn.Snowed so hard I had to do 35mph on I-87 Ended up with 6 inches of heavy by 10am

Just going to say, April Fool's Day sucks gigantic donkey balls.

Now that it is safely in the past, we can carry on with our regular scheduled snark and what not...
