dude.
you killed snark.
Purely coincidental, entirely unintentional, besides it probably had it coming.

Some days you step in it, some days you nearly roll in it, today I spent most of the day working on sewage systems designed by frigiots.

I went ahead and picked up "In the Heart of the Sea", knowing it would be a travesty to honesty, being an Opie Taylor movie. I had just read the narrative by Owen Chase, and I have picked up a couple more publications to peruse, most interesting to me is the story by Thomas Nickerson discovered locked away in a trunk for something like 130 years. Amazing stuff.

For all the baton haters out there

Figures....

Spent all day in the hospital... Because of the surgery, and the mandated rest afterwards, I have developed a DVT blood clot in my leg.

Now for the next 2 weeks I have to inject myself twice a day with a blood thinner. And I hate needles.

Maybe I'll have some good luck now?? A man can dream!

God I hope so... I'm only 34 years old but I feel 75.

I know how it feels, not the blood clot part but having surgery at a young age and feeling old afterwards. I had an ankle repaired at 19 and a hernia fixed at 20, After the ankle I couldn’t walk for a month and after the hernia it was a couple months before I was allowed to lift anything over 10 lbs.

Nothing like having to rely on friends, coworkers, and family to help you do nearly everything to make you feel old and helpless. You’re young, you should heal fast and as long as you follow instructions you should heal solidly as well; the hardest part of recovery is waiting to push yourself until long after you think you’re able to do everything.

Sorry to hear about the blood clot, though, that’s annoying and needles do indeed suck.

2013 DRZ400S. Older guy had it, set it up nearly perfectly, then realized he rides his KTM 900 too much to ever ride the DRZ. Got it for about 2500 less than new and it has close to 1000 dollars of parts on it. All aftermarket plastics, bigger plastic tank, wide footpegs, better bars, smaller tail light and turn signals (the original light and turn signals are monsterous things). All of the original plastic and tank came with it so I'll probably unload those soon to recoup some money.
