Paramilitary 2 Pros and Cons?

PM2 pros: Great ergos. Can get in S30V or S110V. Sprint runs available.
PM2 cons: A little big for an EDC. You will probably buy more than one so it may become a money pit.

I can confirm the inconsistency. Out of 3 standard s30v camo pm2, only 1 came perfect action. The other two were were overtightened. Nothing that couldnt be fixed with a slight adjustment. The lock on my user is a bit sticky but doesnt bother me. The pivot screw was difficult to unscrew, probably because of the aforementioned red loctite. That said, it is a good knife. It grew on me more and more after a day of playing with it. Nice thick blade stock which is what i like. The compression lock is a nice mechanism, certainly a joy to one hand close. I love the natural g10 the camo is on. The lightweight of it will come in handy for me. Feels nice in the hand and nice fit and finish. My style is normally heavier built titanium framelocks, which is why it surprised me how much i actually like the pm2

I have a PM1 and a PM2, not that fond of either but if it was the only knife available to me I would use it with confidence.

Cons for me :
Fragile tip
"thick" blade stock - if you want a slicer, use thinner stock, if you want hard use, don't have the pointy tip
Compression lock pinches me
On a handle that can accommodate a full 4 finger grip, I have no use for a choil, it wastes cutting edge - lots of people disagree with this I know

Nothing is terrible or a total deal breaker, there are just alternatives I prefer.

I just recently acquired a new Para 2 in 110V and it is truly a regal piece of cutlery. But for most of my cutting chores I find my M390 Military to be a much better tool for what I need personally. However I have to do a job this summer in a city where they don't allow long bladed knives at all and they don't allow autos ( switchblades) either :( So I've pretty much decided I'll carry the Para 2 while working that job. But I will carry my C-45 Stainless RESCUE as a companion and I'll just take my chances on that one.

The C-36 Military is becoming one of my top 3, all time favorite EDC blades>> but I do have a ton of respect for the Para 2 and for that I will give it a thumbs up. Also I tend to heavily favor GOLDEN, CO, USA Earth models as well

PM2 is much easier to carry day to day. It does not take up as much real estate as the Manix and it gives you as much cutting area as the Manix Also if you want to play with it the PM2 lock is much easier to operate than the Manix. I like a big knife so I carry the Manix XL and a para 2 at the same time when I am wearing jeans.

It's a nice knife, but since it always pinches my finger, I never use it. I with the comp lock was maybe enclosed and button operated.

Pros: It's one of the best folding knives ever made. It is reasonably priced.
Cons: It is not a Sebenza.
