Paramilitary 2 sold out everywhere! :(

It's sold out at about every website I could find. Any websites you guys know of that still have them in stock?
 
Yep, when they replaced the Para with the Para 2 they lengthened the blade, improved the ergos, lowered the price and have been at full manufacturing capacity trying to catch up with demand.

Yeah, it's gotten real popular lately. I should've gotten it when I had the chance. I found a few plain edge para2 in stock but I'm looking for the all black one.
 
I ordered a Paramilitary 2 from Amazon when everyone else was sold out. I got it shipped next day. It was shipped to my job and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. The UPS man brought it and I pulled out my Dragonfly and cut the box open. I opened the box and pulled out a........ Persistence... WTF! Ok so I called em and they shipped out another one next day. I sent the Persistence back also the very same day. Annoyed I waited until the next day to get the knife I paid for. The next day the UPS man arrived. Again I pulled out my Dragonfly, opened the box and pulled out my.......... OK. What the hell! Is this some kind of cruel joke! Oh, by the way both boxes did say Paramilitary 2 on them.

you do know there are some of us at Amazon who are knife guys,we see a box,take out the knife,check it out..........
 
The Blue G10 M390 Para-Military 2 is still available. Bit pricey, but it's not like it's a bad knife. ;)

I've been looking for a camo one and haven't had any luck. I figure Sal is just trying to protect my marriage!

Sounds like someone scamming the system to me. Hopefully they realize what is going on (if that is the case, and it definitely sounds like it is) and can trace that back to the ones who switched them out... It's happened on other items as well, they really need to check returns against pictures, especially if they resell them.

Also Amazon had a bunch in stock about a week ago. Like the OP I was looking for them and found them at AMZ, posted it on the Spyderco forums to give everyone a heads up, they were going for $90.99, sold out of more than 25 blades in 3 hours :eek:

I got my all black PM2 from AMZ as well for $94. Great place to by blades if you can properly decipher their constantly incorrect descriptions.

Yes... it keeps the forum running smoothly when people post things where they belong. My suggestion would be to check out many of the online shops and see if they offer the "email me when it's in stock option" and just sign up for notification. It may take a little patience but they are bound to start popping up.

Yeah if they're not available right this second where you normally shop online odds are they will be back in stock soon. Neither the retailers nor Spyderco are stupid, they know this is a hot knife and they know it's selling like pot at a Grateful Dead concert. Spyderco have not stopped production on this knife and will continue shipping them to retailers that want them in stock because they sell so well.

Of the three times I've ordered from Amazon's "Warehouse Deals", twice it's been the wrong knife...
